Financial Jail

Good day ladies and gentlemen, okay most if not all of us here are literate no doubts about that(otherwise you wouldn't be reading these right?), thanks to our parents/relatives/governments/ourselves for putting in so much to get all of us educated. It's a noble thing to do because an educated society is mostly a free society. But I have realised that there is something most of us have a problem with, Finance! Money, Moola, Wang, Nyuku call it whatever you want to call it! most people are slaves as far as using money is concerned, unfortunately most had to learn to use money on their own and the financial discipline was never instilled in us at a younger age! The problem is so common that even ministers have been known to have it (I didn't say this ;))!! Now I thought of doing the honourable thing; you know, that is; open Google, search "How to save money" copy what I think are the best tips, then come and paste it here. But I want to do things a little bit different this time around, I want to hear from you guys; the best techniques/ideas/tips on how one can maintain a higher level of financial discipline and how do we teach these to our kids while they are young? so they don't end up in financial despairs' like most of us here. Lets share information. All opinions/comments are welcome as long as they are relevant and not of vulgarity in language.

Readers discretionunfortunately the owner of the blog is amongst those who are financially illiterate :) well I'm working hard on rectifying the status quo..

New School music Vs old School

As a music lover, I listen to all kinds of "Good music" from Country, to RnB, To rock, to Chinese Folk music. But something has not been right of late, I'm being repeatedly disappointed by the way things are turning out to be in the music industry over the past decade! Music to me has gone from a Soul-calming-soul-soothing-soul-healing tool  to a soul-disturbing-soul-wrecking- depressing weapon! why are they doing this to us?

There is something these new musicians are missing; be it vocal wise or instruments when making their music, they just don't make classical music any more, like they used to make it in the late 90s and backward! BoysIIMen, Witney Houston, Celine Dion, Lionel Richie, Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson, Brenda Fassie, Lucky Dube, Bob Marley, Tupac Shakur, Biggy Smalls, Rod Steward, Sir Elton John, Salif Keita, Meriam Makeba, Hugh Masekela, Don Williams, Dobby Grey, Dolly Parton, Judy Boucher, Westlife, Joe Thomas, Uncle Sam, Terese Gibson, Oliver Mutukuzi, Jackson Kaujeua, Ras Sheehama! the list is endless, these people made music that knows no time limit, knows no age restrictions, No Gender restrictions and No age restrictions, we still listen to their music today, our kid's kids will listen to their music because their music were made with passion, creativity, a love and devotion to the art, but these new, younger artists just make plastic music! their music can't even last a month! Let's go back to the time when music was music not now when it's all about money, evil and Illuminati nonsense! its like these artists are in competition of making BAD music! nowadays its about fame and money! These people need to shape up or ship out!  I rest my case...

My blog explained

Important Tips:Protect your eyes from Computer/laptops/Sartphones/LCDs e.g

Okay lets face it, we spend too much time in front of our computers, laptops, smartphones and the likes, be it for academic purposes, work or the good old Facebook and other sites. we just can't get enough of our devices. But most are unaware what effects this long periods in front of this good technological devices has on our eyes and most importantly we don't know that there are easy to do tips to help protect and keep our eye-sights much longer, you may need those eyes to look at your beautiful Grandchildren when u retire, :), ha ha ha u don't want to get old? you will! enough of my goofiness, here are some 5-easy-steps to follow:

1. Let your eyes have a break: use the 20-20-20 rule, after spending 20 minutes on your computer, take a 20 seconds break, looking at an object which is about 20metres away

2. move your eyes: after a long time infront ofyour computer, u can do the eye movement exercise, where u will move your eyes as follow, clockwise (around), up and down, repeat 3 times

3. Blink your eyes to make tears secrete, keep the eyes wet: important if u wear contact lenses

4. Breath regularly: lol I know  you are breathing, but focusing on something on a computer make you breath shallowly at times so remind yourself to breath more deeply

5. Adjust your screen distance. The distance between your eyes and the screen should be from 50 to 70 cm and 10 to 20 cm lower than your eyesight

Some of the tips I read from magazines, listen on radio but here is link to a legitimate website were I also get some of the tips and where you can get more. http://www.wikihow.com/Protect-Your-Eyes-when-Using-a-Computer

Will your parents approve of it? comments are welcomed below and let's keep our language clean, no vulgar language, just mature talk only.. Leggo any contribution is welcome, short/long/medium.

How to be a great Blogger

Hi there, well I have been thinking there are some of you(including myself) who wants to be great bloggers, yes blogging can be a career(part-time/fulltime), now I ran a couple of researches on how one can make themselves a good blogger? First I will share my own opinion then I will round up the researches results later. For you to be good at anything especially as far as writing is concerned, one has to be as unique and as original as possible, avoid plagiarism at all costs and you must love writing.

According to Janine Warner from Creating Family Web Sites For Dummies
, three things are important here; Develop a writing style and tone appropriate to your subject material, post often,  even if your posts are short, allow your readers to comment on your posts.

Now some of you are not aware of this but you can make a comfortable living from being  blogger but that's another topic for another time, well ladies and gentlemen I don't wanna bore you further with long speeches (or writing) so until then...Kaiho is signing out, Buenos Noches! :)
